Suzi’s early career started immediately after graduating as a model for 12 months in Japan, and then again as an advertising model following her return to Britain – No wonder she looked a natural while posing with some of our cartridges…

Suzi’s early broadcasting career followed shortly after and began in 1997 presenting coverage of BBC Sport’s MotoGP for thirteen consecutive years. After stepping down from her role in 2010 due to a number of health issues. The next big step for Suzi came in 2012 where it was announced that she would be taking pole position as presenter of the BBC’s Formula One coverage over the 2013 season. This was a big moment for women in sport, and women all around the world, as it was the first time that a female had taken on a       full-time main anchor role on British TV for Formula One.

It was shortly after Suzi’s big breakthrough on Formula One that we were determined to have her as the face of ECS. Suzi had shown great professionalism throughout her time on television as both a presenter of sports and The Gadget Show in 2005. We recognised instantly that she had something endearing about her when it came to giving the analogy of the technical aspects of something, be it an F1 car or a toner cartridge – we just had to have her onboard!

You might have also heard Suzi Perry on your car radio recently as she’s taken over the drive-time slot on BBC Radio 2 covering for the likes of Claudia Winkleman, Zoë Ball, Simon Mayo, Jo Whiley and Anneka Rice – go and have a listen, she’s brilliant.
